Volunteer Day: Julia's House at MSP Volleyball .
This year marked our first official Envisage Digital volunteer day, and we couldn’t have chosen a better event to get involved with than the MSP Capital
Volleyball championships on Bournemouth beach.
This incredible event raises funds for Julia’s House
and Lewis-Manning
- and this year raised a huge £15,000!
We were so proud to support the Julia's House team during this fantastic event.
Volunteering for Julia's House
As part of the events team, SEO Account Manager Annie & Developer Ed from Envisage Digital manned the cloakroom in support of Julia’s House. It might not have been courtside action, but it gave us the chance to meet so many fantastic people, be part of the buzz, and contribute to a day that raised an incredible £15,000 for charity.
When all bags, coats and brollies were successfully tagged and stored, we took turns with the Lewis Manning volunteers to go out and chat to the Teams about Julia’s House and the fantastic work they do.
Volunteer Days at Envisage Digital
As part of our commitment to giving back to the local community, we've launched a new initiative. All staff members at Envisage Digital are now entitled to one paid volunteer day per year, to be taken at a time that suits them and their partnering charity the best.
We've partnered with some fantastic charities, and will be involved in a wide range activities - from gardening to soup kitchens to wrapping presents - and can’t wait to get out into the community and spread some good!
Are you a local charity looking for some volunteers? Get in touch!
Julia's House
Julia’s House provides a lifeline support for seriously ill children and their families across Dorset and Wiltshire. Their nurses and carers bring clinical care at home or in the hospice, as well as fun, laughter, and activities to brighten children’s days.
They also offer important respite breaks for parents, knowing their child is safe and supported.
Events like this help ensure Julia’s House can continue delivering vital care to families who need it most. This charity only has 8% of its funding from the government, with the rest being solely from donations and fundraising.
Thanks to the organisers
We’re so proud to have been a small part of this special day, and we’ll definitely be back again! A huge thank you to:
- Rachel Bartlett for organising the event
- MSP Capital for their continued support
- Deep Dish Beach for creating such a unique experience
- And of course, Julia's House for having us!
Congratulations to tournament winners RSM UK!
We left the event feeling inspired and motivated to do even more. Roll on next year!
