Back in October 2024, Hyvä announced its plans for the new
Hyvä Commerce Product Suite
, in partnership with Mollie. After months of early access testing and community feedback, Hyvä Commerce officially reached General Availability in July 2025.
This marks a big step forward for Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce merchants. The suite has been built to tackle long-standing challenges, making e-commerce sites faster to build, easier to manage, and smoother for customers to use.

What does the launch mean for current Hyvä customers?
For existing customers, the change will feel simple and seamless. Hyvä Theme and Hyvä Checkout remain core products and continue to get regular improvements. Hyvä Checkout still delivers its standout benefit; it’s around 10x faster than the default Magento checkout. It also remains lightweight and easy to customise.
Just as importantly, there are no extra upgrade fees. The shift to Hyvä Commerce has been designed to be both technically and financially smooth. Most of the big changes are happening in the admin panel, while the storefront experience remains as fast and optimised as ever.
The Future of Hyvä’s Standalone Products
Hyvä’s standalone solutions aren’t going anywhere. Hyvä Theme will continue to be sold at its original €1,000 price point (unchanged since 2021), allowing merchants to experience its benefits before committing to the full product suite.
Hyvä Checkout will also remain available as a standalone option, with existing support and update agreements rolling over into the Hyvä Commerce subscription plan when customers choose to upgrade.
